Yeah, I'm going to be avoiding craigslist... I'm opting for a much more tasteful CU Boulder publication. I'll find a nice frat boy or sorority sister to beat into submission - craigslist is for meth addicts and rapists.

 

So yeah.... I'm having surgery on this leg again, tomorrow morning. I still have a ton of leg pain, two and a half years later. After a lot of evaluation, and finding a new orthopedic doctor, it's been determined that the hardware is the problem. It was put in wrong and in a terrible place. The bone itself is completely healed, so I don't need it in there anymore, so taking it out is the best option. My new doctor showed me the problem... if you look at that top screw, it's protruding out the other side, and the back of the plate is jutting out into nerve and muscle. This x-ray was taken just after it was installed, so it's been like this for over two years.... sigh.




Because of the location of the hardware, there are risks--there always is, though, and the benefits outweigh the risks... so yeah... another ****ing surgery for me. Yippie and stuff.

So wish me luck.... again. ****ers.

 

It should be relatively non-invasive. I had a similar procedure offered to me years ago. Best of lucks, all the same!

you need to tell these people to just install the goddamned cyborg leg and stop faffing about with lameass half-measures. if they are not doing it purposefully in order to torture you, that is.
