Are you supposed to ice the leg at all?

 

Yeah, I've got an ice pack on it. It's resting on a char next to my desk. The doctor doesn't want me using crutches at all. He wants me to walk on it as much as I can tolerate. The bone is completely healed, so no need to baby it. I mean, I'm not going to be hiking anytime soon, but the more I walk on it, the better off I'll be. Being this are has been cut open twice, and the muscle has been dug though to reach the bone, twice, scar tissue is a threat. So yeah... movement is key. I'll probably start physical therapy in a week or two... maybe sooner, dunno yet.

Anyway, hope everything went well and that harpua is recovering nicely.

 

I knew a JCN poster with a wooden leg named Harpua...

 

I took my bandage off a little bit ago, because my leg was itching like crazy. I've got some pretty impressive bruising, and my stitches are creepy looking, but I'm walking around okay. The pain is more of a dull and itchy muscle ache... persistent but manageable.

Walking around your house I presume, for you're not quite healed enough yet to walk at-length elsewhere?
