I recieved my VHS and DVD copies of AotC today. Watching it now!! Ben Burtt has an interesting quote with the intros to the deleted scenes. The DVD quality is Incredible!!!
yeah, the DVD totally rocks. i really sorta wish they hadn't cut the first seven deleted scenes - i think they make the bad romance dialogue in the rest of the movie a little more bearable. and the menus on the first disc? ahhhhhh! awesome!
The blooper reel is accessed the same way as on the Episode 1 DVD. Options menu, type 1138!!--funny stuff!
The only thing I don't like is (unlike Ep.1) no 2.0 stereo. Only 5.1, I like 2.0, for those of us without a 5.1 set-up.
I saw the blooper reel about a week ago, don't ask how. It was great though, especially the Jango with the Umbrella.
the college campaign posters are accessible on the second disc in dex's kitchen. you just hafta arrow around until the poster on the wall behind dex is highlighted. haven't tried this yet myself, but you can select your disc 1 menu during the FBI warning - 2 for kamino, audio button for coruscant, 4 for geonosis. and i forget exactly which featurette it's on (maybe the previsualization one?), but the gag shots with yoda's clothes and the shaaks are awesome too.
