hey Dg, I was born in Mountainside hospital...i grew up in Montclair, Bloomfield and Belleville before leaving in 1980.

Pleased to meet you.

 

I grew up just off of Fisher Blvd. (where the old Shop Rite was) from 1980 to 1987. My mom worked at several of the Seaside rest. so I was always on the boardwalk.

Man, nothing beats Zeppoles from the Castle.

Or Midway steaks. Ahh, how I miss living there.

I went to SilverBay Elem. and then my Mom did not want me going to TR Interm. East, so I went to Ambassador Christian Academy. What a mistake that was. Then I moved to Mt. Laurel.

But I played soccer and pop warner for TR, so I know all of the sites.

 

Fischer Blvd! Then if you're close to 37, you're about 10 minutes away from my house.

Well, were anyway...

 

yep...that I was. I used to ride my bike up to the Foodtown.

I love that little Donut Place up by the WaWa. Is that still there? ?

The best donuts period.

 

Oh man, I know what you're talking about too...the donut shop that closes before like 11...can't think of it off the top of the head, but they are the best, you're right. Funny though, the Wawa isn't there anymore, they changed it to something else. There are at least 5 wawas in the area and at least 2 within a few blocks there now.

WOW right by me too I live off of Vaughn Ave. right by eastdover elem. Favorite place for figures video game connections in howell right by minature golf Route 9 s.

 

Man, I wish I could find a good enough job to move back there...I just miss TR so much. I would love for my daughter to go to SB Elem. Maybe even some of my teachers are still there. But alas, she is still a few years away.

Hey, I will be returning to the Ft. dix area for Thanksgiving this week!! Does anyone here live close to Browns Mills/Mt Holly area? I think Toms River isn't too far, but I can't remember.
I am planning to return to Seaside with my son this summer, maybe everyone here should consider setting a date where everyone can hang out together. Just a thought.

Mal, I currently reside in Riverside, and bring my daughter to my parent's home in Westampton several times per week.

 

Hey I'll be in Burlington with my sister on Friday Morning with the rest of the crazy, bargin hunting public!!

Talk about a small world!

 

Where, the Mall or Target or Walmart? It is a pretty small world.

Damn I was just talking about a Midway sausage and peppers sandwich. LOVE THEM.
They are the best. We have ALOT of Italian feasts around here (as you know)and the zeppoli's are incredible.

Can't wait for the season to start!

 

DG, you go to Willowbrook at all?

yeah...maybe one of the FF meetings can be on the boardwalk?

We can all pig out on Midway sausage sandwiches, zeppolis and pizza.

 

Hey Jedi_Satimber, sorry I couldn't get to a pc in time to let you know I was shopping at both the Mall & Toys R Us in Burlington Friday morning. Talk about crazy, I was up at 3am and the first person inline at Toys R Us at 4am, but it was worth it!! I was able to pick up a couple of Spider-Man 12" dolls and a handful of SW action figures for my son before anyone else got the them!!
I will be back in NJ for Christmas for a day or two, maybe we can met up then.
Hey of you guys decide to have a meeting at Seaside Heights, can I come too? I am a council member of the King of Prussia chapter but if I can meet more SW fans, that would be great!!

BTW, I think I need another glass of Jawa Juice.

 

I believe we will make a meeting next year in Seaside, on the boardwalk.

I ended up having to go to the WalMart on Friday, just me and my daughter. Needed some essentials.


BTW, has anybody been able to find Ephant Mon, I managed to grab 2 from TRU and I am on the list at a couple of KB's. Hopefully they remember.

Well this past week, I remembered just how much I love Jersey...let people joke all they want, but I really do love it. I was home for about a week and I just had the most wonderful time there.
I forget who said they lived off Vaughn...I do too, and I know all the places you guys are describing...and as to the Seaside/Point question, been there more times than I can count, love it, it's a summer tradition! Though I too hate paying to go on the beach, so annoying...and I hate the out of state people who steal all the good parking spaces! I swear we need lots of Jersey only lots, ID required...
OK...gotta go...keep the Jersey pride alive, everyone!

I hold allegiance to The Boss moreso now because he shot part of the Lonesome Days music video in front of my grandparents house. It's the one on fire and it appears three or four times.
