Jabba the Pirate?

Was Jabba the Hutt one o' them scurvy pirates? The evidence:

1. He be havin' a most piratey laugh. "Ho ho ho", says he.
2. He had lots o' wenches.
3. He plundered the booty from scurvy dogs like that Solo.
4. He sail'd the high seas (well, the Dune Sea) in his sailin' ship (well, sail barge). Captain Jabba the Hutt, he should be called.
5. Yarr, and the most damnin' evidence o' all, he made that scalawag Skywalker walk the bleedin' plank!

There is nary a man alive who can say that Jabba was anything but a salty, sandy, dog o' the high seas! Or dunes. Raise yer mugs o' grog on high, me hearties, and give a cheer to Jabba the Pirate!

2) I think you actually have to plunder to be a pirate. Jabba was probably too business-like to be considered a pirate. I think of him as more of a mafia boss.

 

1) Isn't it actually the 19th, and someone started the festivities early? And even if not, it was still before midnight on the West Coast here.
2) Bah, I say! Bah! (Who needs an actual argument? )

 

Nyaar! Cap'n Hydronium be right! The piratin be today. We started early, to fit in as much plunderin as we could. And what be Mafia lords if they ain't the pirates of today!

Ha. Can ye imagine the fat bilge rat Jabba walkin the plank? It'd snap afore he got half way!

Yaar! Piratein' is fun. ye specially for those that are pirates. Yar!

but ye must tell thy now, what kind of ship ye sails. I cannot listen to a soundtrack on me ship. ?

 

Arrggh. T'is a normal sailing ship. Mast, rudder an soforth. But I couldn't live wi'out me music, so I had a sound system installed.
