All art is done with Corel Painter, a Wacom graphic tablet, and with use of reference photos as needed.

    NEWEST PIECE:

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v87/jacemathem/mj3-large.jpg]
    "King of Pop"

    Michael Jackson
    1958-2009

I grew up listening to his music, watching his videos, singing his songs, and dancing along with his moves. Even though I never met this man, it's like a part of my life is missing now.

    STAR WARS PIECES:

"Be Mindful of the Living Force"

"Donna di Amore" (lost original hi-res image, had to enlarge a small version, so quality is not prime)

    "Natalie"

    NON-SW PIECES:

That is a beautiful painting. You are very talented! I guess by the title of the painting that is Natalie Portman, but when I first saw it I thought it could be a painting of Jaina Solo.

    Great job!

Jumps up and down! [face_dancing] Someone who is a master at using Corel! :D I just bought the program and have just started playing w/ it (well I've got a trial version at the moment because I'm impatiently waiting for my disks to arrive :p )

That painting is fantastic, what a wonderful rendition of Nat! What kinds of brushes did you use?

Wow - She looks stunning! To be honest, I initially didn't like the colour hue of the skin upon first glance, but I find that the longer I stare at it, the more that it grows on me. Your painting technique is gorgeous, but what I especially love about this portrait is how you really made her eyes pop out by blurring some of her other features. Interesting and very unique style.

Back again, guys. Updated the thread, since losing my website made a lot of images not work anymore. I'll try to get some of the other ones up again.

Updated 6/30/2009 with what I had been working on over the weekend after a tragic Thursday...

That´s very sweet of you, dear jacemathem.

This painting of Michael is so full of life and drive. It´s a great way to remember and honour a wonderful artist.
