JCC Jack Chick Tracts (Update: Dead)

Anybody ever read these things? They're nuts!

And you know what the funniest thing is? I live in an area with a lot of uptight, religious people, and never even saw one in a public place, like a restroom or something growing up, as far as I can recall. They were something I found out about when I got online in the late '90s. Maybe that's a good thing, because reading one when I was younger would've warped my fragile little mind.

 

I've heard of him and seen some of his tracts, and yeah, some of nearly all of them are totally loopy.

 

Put it this way, if you played Dungeons and Dragons anytime in the past thirty years you'd be as familiar with the name "Jack Chick" as you would "troll".

 

That one lady in Dark Dungeons is the harshest DM ever. No Spot check, you're just dead. Ice cold.

 

And for those of us who haven't...

 

What gets me is that a serial killing necrophiliac drug dealer who has accepted Jesus into his life is forgiven and gets to heaven, but a good non-Christian person doesn't.

There's something wrong with that.

I've seen a number of these over the years. I want to believe the (long-held) rumour that Chick doesn't believe any of the stuff who writes and is just doing it for the money/trolling, because surely no one can be that stupid.

OMG....I feel dirty just linking to it. That dad doesn't need Jesus, he needs a visit from Frank Castle (aka The Punisher).

 

I think Jack Chick is using the Christian universe characters, not Marvel universe. Though a cross over featuring the two sets of fictional superheroes might be fun.

I just did a google search for "Jack Chick", because quite frankly, that sounds like a 1970s porn name.

Turns out that Jack Chick looks more like a starving-crazed raccoon that just came across a litter of kittens.
