This is a great game. The best of the recent bond games I think. I got the Xbox version, and when I set it to Halo controls it's really fun.

Anyone else have this game for any console?

The only thing I know about it is that the PC demo was one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had.

Hopefully the console versions are better.

Yeah, tried the PC Demo and didn't like it one bit. I don't know if it's my PC or not, but it sounded like there were crickets embedded in my ears.

Is this game made by the same people who did 007: Agent Under Fire?

The game's good, but the controls are horrible. What control style do you people use? I use Thunderball. It's not great, but I find the default is even worse. It's very important to me to have move and look around both mapped to the joystick.

Is it that the recent Bond games aren't that good, or did RARE set the bar too high with Goldeneye so long ago?

Yeah, played the PC demo aswell and it sucked. Oh well whatelse to expect from the same people that made AUF. The previews made it look kind of cool. I just hope the Xbox version doesn't suck as bad as the PC demo.

Good question, J_R. I think it's some of both. AUF was plain atrocious. That's why I was wondering if Nightfire was made by the same company.

Actually, I thought that Agent Under Fire was a pretty good game...better than Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough...However, I have not had the privelege of playing Nightfire yet, but I hope to play it sometime soon...

I really liked "Agent Under Fire" much better when I set it to Halo controls. It's the only way. I don't remember what setting that was, but basically the left analogue walks and the right looks up and down and around. Nice.
