For their contribution to the genres of science fiction and fantasy, James Earl Jones and David Prowse hould be given cameo appearances as Jedi Masters.

I would be all for it. Get Prowse the props for playing Vader that he deserves, but at times is forgotten since Jones was the voice. James Earl Jones you would probably have to keep in a 'seen but not heard' role, because his voice would probably sound too much like that of Vader's.

JEJ should come back, IF Vader comes back. And IF his voice is still magical.

    If not, synth that ****.

You're thinking of Sebastian Shaw who was Vader in ROTJ when the helmet was taken off and the Force ghost.

Eh...if 'wearing the suit and gesturing' is a qualifier, then there's quite a few people who ought to get Jedi Master cameos.

Now, as to providing the voice...yeah. JEJ ought to get a cameo if anyone does.

Not sure Prowse is able enough to do anything but sit down in a cameo, he needs a crutch to get around these days.

He could be rolling around in some Davros-like contraption, spouting lines about how youngsters don't remember what the old-timers went through fighting the Empire.

You won't see Prowse anywhere near a Lucasfilm production.

    JEJ I could see...possibly.

Does JEJ need to hit the treadmills?

I could see it. Prowse might have to borrow Yoda's cane :p

Prowse has pretty much burned all his bridges when it comes to LFL.

That aside, I would love to see either or both of them get a little nod like this.

I wouldn't care if either are standing in the background.

I know Lucas is in ROTS, but I've never noticed him.

How about a 3rd option? Yay, Nay, Noesn't matter?

I am neither for nor against either of them getting a background cameo in any way, shape or form.

JEJ should get a cameo as a long lost hermit Jedi, who happens to be blind. The Solo kids manage to knock their bolo-ball (that was stolen from Daddy's collection WITHOUT HIM KNOWING, tsktskk) into his lair, thankfully out of the way of his ferocious Rancor. Upon the Solo children meeting the once scary blind gentleman, they hear tales of old. Their bolo-ball is ruined, unfortately, as it had rolled into some bad Bantha poodoo that JEJ saves up for his gardening/harvesting.

Unbeknownst to them, he was a veteran Bolo-ball player! Thankfully, he provides them with an old bolo-ball from his day, signed by none other than him (an old bolo-ball player), Baba Ruta, and Alou Gh'Erhig. There is a pic nearby to prove it's authenticity, taken on Kamino during Opening Day.

    Silly kids, and their drugs.

Also, there is an appearance by Dennis Leary for some reason, and he smokes.

    And, scene.

Kind of a hijack here...but does anyone think Lucas will cameo in Episode VII?

Certainly. He has nothing important to do now, so why not?

I think he should. Say what you like about him but he is the creator of this whole bloody universe and the characters that we love, so I believe that it'd be a great swansong for him when it comes to passing the torch on to the next generation of filmmakers.

Why should they be given anything? They worked on several films, they did their job, they were compensated. These aren't fans who are jumping up and down trying to win a walk on role.

Why shouldn't they get a role? Prowse and Jones brought to life the most iconic character in Star Wars, something which has resonated for years with people from all generations. They should be honored for this.
