Jan. Meeting

Well boys and girls the holiday season has come and gone and most of the world can return to the mundane duldrum of their otherwise ordinary lives. The rest of us, on the other hand, can return to the roots of who we are...Star Wars Fans. An amazing breed of homo-superior evolved far beyond the ordinary fanboy.

So, when are we getting together next and what are we going to do? Any weekend, regardless of time of day, is good for Kat and myself with the exception of the 15th.

MLK Jr. Weekend is out for me too, but I'm good on all other days.

 

How about Sat. the 8th?

Im realy looking foreward to seeing all you guys again. It seems like forever since the last meeting.

 

Friday the 14th the CLONES will be in Atlanta for the One Man Star Wars Trilogy.

We'd love to have some Raiders join us.

 

Well folks the 8th would be THIS weekend and so far we have one request for it and two with no objection to it. So let your voices be heard soon so we can plan to make it happen or pick a different date.

Lord_Joda...RISE! and while you're at it tell us what weekend MLK Jr. Weekend is as I don't have a calender for "aught five" yet so we can know what weekends are out.

MLK Weekend is the 14-16, so its that same time you can't meet either, JTC. the 8th is fine with me.

 

Charles, I think that some of the Hothlanta Rebels are planning an outing to the One Man Star Wars trilogy. I'll post details as soon as I have them.

Grabing a cup of coffee at a book store is alway cool. And I haven't been to a cheap seats theater in while so either would be fine with me.

 

Man I live at the dollar theater!

Maybe we could go to the bookstore then...unless there's a movie everyone's been wanting to see at the cheap theater?

What is on at the dollar mivies?

 

We could do Barnes and Noble. I could go for a Cafe Mochiato. We could then follow it with a movie but the only things that catch my interest right now are Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and White Noise (is that out yet?). But I have a feeling Malz won't want to go see something like White Noise (based on conversations about previous similar movies) and I don't think my wife will be able to handle being alone at night while I work after seeing it. Lemony Snicket's sounds cool, but I'm not a real Jim Carry fan (its the movie as a whole that interests me).

Are there options other than movies?

 

Why don't we meet at Barnes & Noble at about 7PM, or whatever time is convenient for everyone, and then decide on a movie at the dollar theater.

We took the kids to see Lemmony Snickets.
Weird flick.
Im not sure I liked it. It was a little too gloomy for me.

I wouldn't mind sitting around at a bookstore for a while...we haven't done that in a long time!

Oh and I'm not sure I liked a Series of Unfortunate Events much either...it was weird...and the kids I took to see it were scared of it!

Yeah, just sittin at the book store would be fine with me. So shall we say tomorrow night at 7PM at B&N? If we need to move the time up later for Katherine's work that would be fine, any time is cool with me.

Hey guys, I also had a small family emergency that came up at the last minute. I haven't had access to my computer all weekend or anyones phone number or I would have given someone a call, but the computer at home is down now and my phone book has been MIA since the wedding. I'm sorry I missed the meeting. Maybe we can do something again in the next couple of weeks. Anyone for the bookstore again. Anytime is good for me.
