Jango Fett vs General Grievous

In AOTC, Jango is outmatched against Obi-Wan and Mace, since they have Force powers. How would Jango fare against Grievous? He's not strong in the Force, but he does have 4 lightsabers, and immense physical strength. Who would win?

Jango's much cooler than Grievous to me...all he'd need to do is launch a rocket into Grievous' belly.

 

Too close to call. GG's lack of Force powers give JF a better chance of doing damage, but GG is much more durable than a Jedi.

 

Hard to call, since one of them would end up running away eventually.

I call Jango, since all Greivous seems to do in ROTS is run away from fights.

Animated Grievous would definately win-just look at how many Jango clone troopers he killed but live action Grievous goes down easy

 

Is it just me, or did Jango go down way too easy in AOTC...I mean, if you're gonna make a giant clone army based from him, shouldn't he be a little stronger...All Mace had to do was charge at him and take one swing with the sabre...

 

Ghetto-Wookie: It wasn't quite that easy. The reason Mace was able to take Jango down so quickly was primarily due to the Reek. If there was no Reek, and just Jango vs. Mace, I think Jango would've put up more of a fight.

Jango did hold his own against OWK, after all, and OWK defeated Maul, Grievous, AND Anakin.

I think in the novelization of AOTC, the Mace Windu/Jango fight goes into a bit more detail, rather than the "Jango fires two shots and stands there while Windu lobs his head off" scenario.

I think he actually utilizes his jet pack and other tools in the fight, and then makes one mistake and off his head goes. His bout with the Reek also goes on a bit longer I believe.

 

Grevious would SLICE Jango up. Jango would use his jet pack and GG would jump up and slice him into four pieces.

I'm going to say Jango would win. He could've taken Grievous down before he even got close.

I agree with Guy DuBlanc.Jango did hold his own against Obi Wan.

 

Grievous can't use the force, and i doubt he can block blaster shots with his lightsaber.

I see this match-up ending in one of two ways:

1. General Grievous lures Jango into some type of trap and finishes him off.

2. Jango Fett uses his jett pack and long range weapons to kill GG off from a distance.

 

Jango would win easy, because:

1. Jetpack
2. Rockets

Even if Jango didn't have that, I doubt Grevious can block blaster shots, so Jango would kill Grevious before he even got close.

Don't forget Grevious has taken out dozens of jedi.

And in all honesty, Jango is just a human male who is not even force sensitive. He may have killed a couple of padawans in the past, but it wasn't one on one/face to face battle.

Grevious wouldn't bother decapitating Fett like Windu did. Hw would just simultaneously sever each limb.

Jango would win - he would just use rockets to fly upwards, and then use the torpedo. Greivous could do absolutely nothing about that.
