Jango shames the name of Fett

I also agree with that Boba Fett's Face was better left as a mystery, It makes him seem more powerful.

 

And it gives him more identity than he would have without his mask.

First of all, and probably the most obvious, is that Boba Fett is a clone. Boba Fett, the #1 bounty hunter in the galaxy, is now suddenly the second banana and just one in an army of identical soldiers, which is another thing that bugs me.

Thats exactly how I feel. It just seems silly to compromise a character like that. I dont mind the idea of seeing Boba's father, but having Jango be a bounty hunter with the same costume and fighting makes Boba Fett look like a parrot.

 

The Jaster Mereel stuff is EU, which is frequently contradicted by Lucas.

Showing Boba as a kid was just fine with me. Boba didn't really seem to be anything special in the OT to me other than having a cool costume. Jango actually did cool stuff and got some onscreen kills, which is more than OT Boba ever did.

 

To see who shames the name of Fett I think we should look at how they died

Jango - was killed battling one of the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy

Boba - was killed by a blind man swinging around a stick

I love both characters, but if I had to choose one that shamed the name of Fett, it wouldn't be Jango

 

I like Jango because he was cool without having the suit and helmet on. Any geek can put that costume on and look like a badass. It's probably why he Boba Fett is such a popular character.
