Oregon Jantzen Beach Supercenter Comicbook & Collectible Show

Jantzen Beach Supercenter Comicbook & Colectible Show Apr 22-23 2006. Free Admin. and parking. Lots of dealer tables to find those rare comics and hard to find collectibles. This will be a first time for me at this show as I usually go to all of them in the Portland area.

 

Hey - I could go to that. Do you know what time they'll be there? Jantzen Beach opens super early and I can't imagine that it would start at that time...

What I'm looking for are Star Wars posters. I didn't find any at the Portland show. Do you know if the Jantzen Beach show will have them? And if not, do you know where I can find Star Wars posters in town (PDX)?

 

The show is inside the mall. Sat 10-9pm, Sun 11-6pm. Over 60 dealer tables. I hope to find some SW goodness there. Flyer has another show in May 13-14th. Cool.

This is great! Since it takes place over the weekend, I'd like to go on Saturday morning (instead of Sunday) - unless I'm in the minority on that request. I'm fairly flexible, but my wife almost always has to work on Saturday mornings.

Saturday works good for me. Would be pretty cool to show up in costume to liven things up. Solo needs to find a few choice collectibles to smuggle past the wife, lol.

Just a bump to remind people of this event. Where, and when are we meeting on Sat Apr 22?

 

I think I can meet after 10am that day (my wife probably has to work).

Great! Looks like we'll have a good turn out for us with a little help from the DST (Darkside Troopers)! Looking forward to meeting up with everyone!

 

Wow! That was a really interesting event. Not a whole lot of tables/vendors, but the mall people liked us. The only good table was The Comic Book Closet (comicbookcloset.com). The rest of the tables were dedicated to sportscards and such. Thanks to DST for showing up, and making things enjoyable as always.

 

Sorry I missed it. I would have liked to go but yesterday was filled up. With the be any photos of the event posted on the Dark Site Troopers web site?

 

We are putting a few up on the Dark SIDE Troopers site. Grumpydevil has all the pics, he is UPLOADING them soon. They should of called the event Sports Cards and with one comicbook and collectible table(comicbookcloset.com) show. Nice to see Solo with his new blaster.
