January meeting is the 21st at 2 p.m.
Maybe those of us going to Celebration should start making plans?
I agree. I think this can be brought up during the main meeting, but I don't want to spend too much time on it too be fair to non Celebration faring folks.
So far, some of the big rocks for January will be:
-2017 event planning
-2017 meeting planning including NEW meeting sites
-Rogue One discussion
-Memories of Carrie
Anything else that should definitely be on the agenda?
Star Wars at the Hangar on April 29-30. We've been invited to do the RMFF game show/trivia for Wings Over the Rockies. We'd give it twice: Saturday, April 29 for adults and then again Sunday, April 30 for kids.
Would the group be interested in doing this? Could we commit to one or both?
Our usual lineup of events: Parade, Starfest(?), May 4th (Which used to actually be on May 4th, and now is on the not-even closest weekend?)
Starfest this year is April 21-23, between Celebration and Star Wars day. For the first time in 4 years, the date has no conflict with anything we do. It also returns to the newly refurbished Marriott.
The trivia is certainly a big hit. I would be interested in helping.
They finally figured out that it conflicts with Free Comic Book Day, where a lot of people have standing trooping obligations.

I'd like to add a couple of things, too.
For Star Wars Day at WOTR on April 29 and 30, Zoo has asked us if we can do a RMFF game show/trivia each day. The Friday version would be for adults and the Saturday version would be for kids.
We have tentative commitment from people at the meeting, but all help would be much appreciated! I'll coordinate with Zoo to figure out the logistics for these versions and let everyone know how they can help.
I will also add that RMFF now has an Instagram page if you would like to follow. Not much on there yet, but I am hoping to add photos as we attend more events throughout the year.
