What movie are we planning on seeing?

I could see Return of the King again, but I also wouldn't mind checking out The Last Samurai (assuming it's still playing.) Other than that, you'd have to drag me to see anything else. Either way I'll be at the restaurant cause it's within walking distance of my apartment. :)

I don't think I've ever been to an IHOP in the afternoon. This will be a new experience for me.

The Last Samurai was the most boring piece of crap I've EVER had the pleasure of walking out on. 45 minutes into the movie and I couldn't take it anymore.

ok, let me clarify. it was a DECENT movie, but unrealistic. there is no way he could take on all thoughs warriors and survive. he should have died in the movie

The end of the movie did suck, but I saw no problems with it up to that point.

Damn Charles, that avatar is so YOU. :D

It looks like everyone has seen Last Samurai but me. So which movie do we go see? I really didn't see anything new worth watching, but RotK is definitely on my list for a second viewing.

dang, I can't make this one either. This is the same day as the Greater Houston Athletic Trainer Society's Student trainer workshop which I'll be stuck at all day until about 4:30 or 5. By the time I make the drive out to 290 even the movie would be over. :(

Those who show for the meeting will have the deciding vote as to what to see. :) ROTK is always a good choice. I wasn't too impressed with Last Samuri, either.

^ What Jedi_Knight_Jonas said. I dunno, though, Stark was the rich snobbish type. Cruise could handle that.

I sense much hate for Tom Cruise here. :p

I honestly don't think he's that bad, he's been in several movies that I liked (MI, Top Gun, Minority Report) And he looks a lot more like Tony Stark than he looked like Lestat in Interview With a Vampire. Honestly, I'm not sure Ironman would make a good movie. I didn't read the early stuff, so I don't really know if there is a signature villain in the comic. By the time I started reading, there was a black guy wearing the armor, but Tony eventually got back in the suit.

Viewing the database of Houston FanForce members, as well as having general knowledge of where many members live, causes me to wonder why there are never any event locations to accommodate people on the south side of town (or anywhere other than the north side, for that matter).

That being said, The Last Samurai was one of the most boring, senseless movies I have had the pleasure of viewing the first 45 minutes of in a long time.
