January Junk

Our activity will be held on January 29. Now depending on weather we will either go sledding or ice skating. So if there is snow we sled, if there's not, we skate.

Sound good? alright then.

Sledding would be fun, but I like to refrain from activities where I would fall on my butt a lot. I will pray for snow, all of you better do the same

It depends on what we are doing, if it's Ice Skating we can do it later in the evening and probably go get something to eat, sledding it would probably be around 2 or 3. I have a meeting that morning that I'm not sure what time it will be getting out.

 

It looks like my meeting will be getting over with around 2 or so. So, if we do end up going sledding it will probably be after 2 in the afternoon.

After we are done sledding/ice skating whichever the weather decides maybe we can get something to eat.

I'll be calling around this week to get group rates for ice skating as well.

 

Sledding I am in, ice skating I will watch. My butt is still sore from the last time I tried to ice skate.

 

I hate being cold and wet, I can do one or the other, plus I don't have winter clothes, but I'll be there anyway, I can manage hot chocolate or something.

 

I am a sissy. I cant take the risk of hurting my precious hands, so I will be sidelined helping with hot chocolate?

Do to the lack of snow so far, it looks as though we will be going ice skating for this months activity.

If you know of a place to go ice skating, let me know and I'll get rates.

But also, please let me know if you plan on attending.

 

now, I'm all about ice skating...(I love it even though I suck at it *sings "I love that I suck" ala "Keeping the Faith"*) but by show of hands...who actually wants to go ice skating? Not to put a damper on your plans Mary, but from reading the posts on this thread all I saw was "I'll sit and watch if we go ice skating", and that isn't very fun.

The speed skating oval is pretty reasonably priced.

I am out of skating. I am sporting a new air cast and will soon be getting crutches for a little trip I took down the stairs.

We will be ice skating at the Utah Olympic Oval
5662 Cougar Lane, Kearns, UT 84118. Afterwards we will go to Sconecutter which is down the street from the Oval to sit and gab.

We will be meeting at the oval at 5:30 to shoot for skating at 6.
