January meet?

8 days to go!

 

Here's a question: What do you guys want to do? It's really hard to come up with an original idea every single month. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I unfortunately won't be back in Boston yet.

 

Sorry I haven't been around much. I have a very close friend who is going through a really bad time right now and that has taken up a lot of my attention.

I had been working on a plan for this meet but it fell apart and I was trying to put it back together. Sadly, I couldn't make it work for this month. I'm open to any ideas because to be honest, I'm at a loss for ideas.

If anyone else can stand the cold I think bumming arounf Harvard Square could be fun. I heard there is a very cool Anime Store around there and I've always wanted to check out New England Comics Cambridge store.

 

I can't think of any ideas that are that great, but if this weather keeps up it should be somewhere indoors.

 

Harvard square sounds like fun. Lots of things to do there. Even if the weather sucks you'd be indoors most of the time.

Of course, it's just my luck that I'd miss the meet closest to where I live.

 

The anime store is called Tokyo Kid. My friends are obsessed with anime, and I like some of it (Trigun, Noir, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing...etc).

Well, I might be able to make it...however it looks doubtful. I am trying to schedule my driving test for that day, but I might have to go skiing. I'm not sure, so I'll get back to everyone this week.

That last line makes me sound like I have such a trying life, but I don't...so sorry? I'm going to go, because I'm starting to make less sense than usual.

Really wish I could be there for this meet. Sounds like a lot of people are interested. Hope you guys figure something out!

 

Joe had a good idea: Good Times.
We always have a blast there, and my sources informed me that they have added a new go kart thing. Details are scarce.

Perhaps we could push the meet one week later, and then it would give everybody ample time to know about this meet, and also it would allow some people (who will remain nameless ) to come back to Boston, and thus attend the meet.

Does this sound like a good idea?

 

I'm having my b-day party at Good Times on the 24th. My party could be the meet. (Presents would be welcome. )



EDIT: I would need to know how many people are coming though so I can get the right package.

I think it's a great idea. I was planning on going to Leah's party anyway, and it's better if more Rebels are going to be there to join in the fun.

Let's get some more input before we make this official. Leah, what time were you planning on for the start of the party?

That'll work. I was supposed to be going to my Nephew's Robotics Meeton that Saturday but it's been moved up to this Sunday during the AFC Championship.

 

I'm not sure. I have a staff meeting at work that day, but it's at 9am. I'm guessing it could start around 12pm, but it could start later than that if it's better for others. I just need to find out soon so I can make the reservations. I'm also going to need to know how many peopple are coming.
