Wash, DC january meeting?

Anyone interested? I'm thinking something casual and indoors like bowling or something.

 

I'm up for it, however, I'm out of town till the 11th of January and the 26th is out as well. Other than that, I should be free for now, till I make a run up to Philly.

 

I don't have a lot of free time this month. My weekends are pretty full already. I'll make it if I can.

Erm, well William Hung is that bad singer from American Idol that somehow won fame and fortune by singing badly. I don't think any harm was done mentioning him, its not as bad as you think. (Hmm William Hung of Bowling, maybe it is as bad as you think )

 

Whoa, let me rephrase:

William Hung = Bad singer (although he does grow on you ...)
Me = Bad bowler (Last time I bowled I got a 47, yes, a 47, and that was a good night for me!)

Therefore Me:Bowling::WilliamHung:Singing

I don't know - I too could be called the William Hung of Bowling, yet when I went with this bunch, I actually got strikes and things! Now Ken doesn't believe I'm a terrible bowler.

 

How about the 28th? It's my only free Saturday as far as I know.

If that doesn't work, how do folks feel about a Friday night?

 

I can't make the 28th due to a committment with the in-laws, but don't let me stop you. A Friday night could work, but it could be tricky.

 

The 28th should work for me, and Friday might do as well, although I can't make it on the 20th.

Wow Eugenia, strikes??!! Cool! I'm happy if I can knock down 5 at once!

 

Eric and I could make it on the 28th, but Friday nights could be difficult due to traffic.

If it's a night when I can make it, I can make sure I get at least one Amish hat done first to bring in!

The 28th is fine with me, however the 26th is my mom's 80th birthday so that would have to be out for me.

So we're bowling? can we have it at a different location this time? Maybe that bowling alley in Falls Church over by that Ireland's Four Provinces? I think its much easier to get to. Its just off Annandale road.

I stink at bowling but I went two nights ago and some how pulled off a 105! So we'll see how I'll do. LOL.

 

I'd love to go bowling and haven't done so in quite a while...But I can't on the 28th. I've got a daylong class at the Museum of Civil War Medicine.
I've been booked into it since last September. If it's at night...I might be able to.. provided I get back from Frederick in time.

 

Why do I get the feeling that this bowling/meeting will be a double date between Ken and Eugenia and Me and Kory? LOL. Of course, I'm presuming Kory's coming.

Are we still on for the 28th?

 

The only thing I have to do on the 28th is drive my young ward around in the afternoon (which I just found out about). So, we'd be free after, say, 4.

If Lori wants to show off hats, I'd be up for getting together.

Or, we can go bowling.

Or have dinner.

Or road trip to Masters for beards.

Or whatever.

Or, we just meet up at Farpoint!!

Since it's looking like we're back to the slacking (whew, I was worried) I'd say officially, no meeting this weekend. That gives us plenty of time until Farpoint to come up with meeting things. Whew. The pressure is off.
