well, from internet research, the consensus is for the 18th, which would make the 19th/20th weekend a good one to meet up... a friend who worked in a movie theatre said that if we knew how many people are going to be there, we (as a group) could order tickets and get a group discount... not sure how to work that though... also, another question i have is this; dress up or plainclothes? (since, ya know, it's a Star WARS movie lol) another point to my question, how cool (or funny) would it be for a bunch of star wars fans dressed up as star wars characters watching a movie about star wars fans?

Well, on the Il. side smoking has been banned in all public places, including bars. (oh the humanity) So somewhere on that side of river might be best for our smoking challenged members

Hey, if you guys end up going to see Fanboys, Patrick and I would probably be on board. Anyone know what the rating is? I'm trying to judge if it's a good one for Teaguen, too, or not. I'm leaning towards no, but this is the child that has beaten all 3 Halo games, so nothing much phases him. Patrick and I were just talking the other night about wanting to get more involved again, and this looks like a great opportunity. Maybe a bite to eat or a drink afterwards?
I am not sure what it is rated, but I think there are some "adult" situations in it. Violence is just easier to explain right now, adult situations I am not ready for. LOL! I am open right now on all of the weekends in January at least in the evening. Where ya going on the 19th Amy?
I will try to call Ronnie's tomorrow and see if I can find out anything. From what I can tell online it is not rated as of yet, but is listed as 'crude humor'. Big surprise there... I am seeing a release date of the 14th online. So we will see after I call.

Amy, Have fun in Atlanta! I say we call the social our meeting for the month since there was three confirmed and one potential member and we didn't drink. But then again I am up for getting together still.
