Madison, WI January Meeting

Hey everyone. Just noticed we still dont have a January thread and decided I'd make one. I know this time is kinda hectic for everyone so maybe later in the month? Just not the last weekend because I'll be gone.

That's February 1st, Which could be fun.

 

I know that the 24th and 10th are out for us. Other than that, wide open.

 

January is fast approaching, any idea what days would work yet.

We have the Friday's the 9th, 16th and 23rd as the likely dates

 

I vote the 16 at 6 at B&N?

 

I won't be in town on the 16th.
I'd vote for the 23rd. The 9th, if we want to meet earlier than the 23rd.
Don't let me hold you up, though. If the 16th is the best date, then go for it.

 

The 9th is a week away so it would be good to hear if that date is good.

 

Now the 16th isn't looking so good for me. We'll have to see I guess.

Hello, the 23rd where? Borders at East Towne? Is Barnes and Noble East Towne ever been tabled as a possibility?

 

Well they do have a seating area, not as big as the West Side Barnes and Noble or Boarders though.

Since Bevin and Nat are moving at the end of the month maybe we should get together someplace, maybe after a meeting.

 

Since the last one was at Border's on University, this time it's the west side B&N, unless someone wishes to choose a different location.

Yup, 6PM is right. Hope you guys enjoy the meeting as I won't be able to make it this time. I had to change my plans at the last minute and won't be in town.

 

shame you won't be there, we'll be sure to make fun of you.

 

I had fun at the meeting. It seemed like a lot of discussion about sad topics, but that's just what's going on now. I'm sure things will get better for all of us.

I did like Brent's suggestion of watching that DVD of A New Hope redone by some guy. It sounded very interesting and I'd love to see the changes he made. My place is available, and Brent mentioned his parent's house. I'll let Brent start a thread on that though.
