Hey Guys, We are having are January meeting on Saturday, Jan. 17th in the meeting room at the new Pasta House in Paducah at 6:30 pm. We will be discussing our upcoming spring events and will be hearing from Catherine Busbee, PIMP member and new promoter of the Metro Con coming up in March. We will talking about the cons SW guest(s), and be looking for input and volunteers to help out with some new programming at the con. So come out and get involved in something cool, lets start the clubs year off with a bang, see you all there! pv
Hey Guys, Last nights meeting went very well, thanks to everyone that came out! We formed a Metropolis con committee to help with any aspect of the con that Catherine, the new owner of the con, might need help with, and to help make this now locally owned show a big success. The con is this March 13th-15th and Catherine has built a social network site to get fans in touch with one another before the con, I'll post the link below. Get on there and build a page and start promoting the PIMPS! We also covered dues that are due next month. They are still 10 bucks a year and you can give them to either myself or rena at the next meeting. Rena no longer works at the branch she was at so you'll have to bring it to the meeting or get with one of us at another time. In February on Saturday the 21st we will be having a fanforce party at my inlaws so start planning on coming out for that. I'm assuming most folks have heard by now, but the MetroCon has been canceled. I guess Tim did iredeemable damage and Catherine was told flat-out "no".
