    Story here

Very good signing, especially considering it takes him away from the Giants.

3 years/$47 million ... a decent amount. Probably just about market value for a true ace at 33 years old.

If he gets his good fastball back, it will be a good signing for sure. So with the dominoes falling, where does Zito go now?

Looks like either your Mets or the Texas Rangers, at least from the Winter Meeting reports I've heard from Gammons and Kurkjian.

I'm thinking Zito is going to the Mets, he's just waiting to see how many pennies he can squeeze out of them

The main issue with the Mets are the years Boras wants (six). Tom Hicks seems more willing, though he's been burned before.

As for the Dodgers, they are definitely a better team and will make the NL West race with San Diego fun to watch. The two teams are the class of the division by far.

Hmm, another pitcher from the NL West signing with a division rival.

Good signing by the Dodgers, probably makes them the favorites there for now.
