Hello all! I am totally new to MMO's like TOR and this cantina here (that I loved to visit in KOTOR) seems like a great place to get used to a game like this which seems awesome so far.

Now where are those dancing Twi'leks? *looks around*

So have ou been playing MMO's before?

 

My first time really, always had troubles with RPG's too...i am not a deep thinker when it comes to games altough KOTOR was easy enough to get into for me.

My experience with MMOs has been limited to SWG, which I really enjoy playing, despite all motivation to the contrary. I'm going to miss the silly stuff like the Ewok Festival of Love, and the repetitive terminal missions, and Life Day, which we probably won't get with TOR.

Just checked the Wook on the Ewok Festival of love and something like this sounds very nice indeed to have. I do hope they find some ways to celebrate this sort of things.

Me too, but with this being a "serious" MMO, I doubt it.

 

Wookiees? No appeal to me...a nice female Twi'lek....my gf will first kick her ass and then leave my ass so no thanks, no picking up for me

Sure it is a serious MMO, but this sort of things still belong there I think...but this might just my inexperience talking...

Tried watching the Wizard of Oz on mute, with the Flaming Lips and Rollins version of Dark Side of the Moon.

I watched the other day an awesome Spanish movie, "Cell 211". Try to find it if you can. It's very, very good.

Oh, and I discovered a wonderful Spanish band called Havalina (yes, after the Pixies song).

"Hey" is still my fave Pixies song, and I don't think that's ever gonna change! Their surf rock rendition of the theme from NARC is LOLtastic, though, but it makes me miss old arcade games.

 

Bossanova and Doolittle both should have been double albums, considering all the b-sides they had during that period.
