Toronto Jays Game - Take 2...

Ok... I missed the first one... and I REALLY wanted to go... Well... I got there last night, they won, and it was GREAT!...

I want a LARGE group coming out... see Both TLL and YJN on the Big Screen!!... AND I will be taking my Helm... and I know others will as well... Fett... maybe Jango... and a clone... so we can get ourselves on the screen... perhaps TV... How about big signs?... "Delgado, Use the Force!"... as an example...

Geeky?... maybe... Fun?... definately... and there's always the chance of winning prizes... Roudiest crazy wins subs for themselves and friends...

Saturday July 24th (4:05pm)... Jays VS Tampa... plan the day off!... (there's no cons/events that weekend!!)

We get to take something home... a blueJays babushka...

Wow! Sure I'll try and make it out! Sorry I didn't reply any earlier. How much are the tickets btw (just so I make sure I have the right amount of cash for that time period)

 

tickets are usually 9 bucks,

i'll be there if i'm not working.

 

I've decided to plan it for the Saturday... that way we get to take something home... a blueJays babushka...

The price would be $9.00... unless we do get a good group size... then it'd be $7.65...

Who is buying the tickets...

 

Well... if we can confirm a large group... I'd have to pay up front... and collect from everyone there... else... just get them at the gate... It's a Jays game... tons of open seats in the 500's... even for a large group...

If our groups big enough.. I might pay to get our Groups name up on the Jumbo... but again... I need numbers there... I don't want to waste a $100 bucks on for 4-5 of us...

No one has to do the following... it is just an FYI message...

To get listed on the JumboTron you have to make a $100 donation to Jays Care Foundation... and Fans featured on JumboTron can get a taped copy (vhs) for a donation of $80 (oddly they have to recieve 5 requests before a tape is made)...

And then there is always this idea... perhaps for next year?... Blue Jays Fundraising Program...

"Raise funds for your charity or non-profit organization and enjoy a Jays games too. Those who have participated in this program have raised thousands for their organization just by selling tickets! Canadian Thunderbirds Baseball Association was able to raise over $10,000 in 2003."

Well... I'm still doing this!... I'll be there for 3:30... and waiting at the Base of the CN Tower with my wife... I'll be the one with a Storm Trooper helmet... and I'll wear my TLL Baseball shirt...
