JC/FF Meet in the summer of 2004

Message from our founder:
Hello, I am a member of a committee that is working to plan a JC/FF Meet
in the summer of 2004. "Here is my idea on the basic structure of
this...the whole event can last for 2-3 nights, with one day being a
picnic. Another event for everyone could possibly be a dinner somewhere,
depending upon how many attend. Groups of people can also plan to do
things together, like seeing movies, or the sights or whatever else.
Bear in mind, this concept of mine is still not entirely formed, and I
think it can be improved upon a great deal with the ideas and advice of

Right now we've decided what area we'd like to hold it in, the
North-East, and we're trying to narrow it down so we're asking you, the
local FanForces, for some help. Who knows the area better after all?

If you'd like to help, please post/mail/PM whatever information you know
about lodging (especially on a larger scale), rentable convention
centers, banquet halls and picnic/park areas, as well as sites,
attractions, and activities in your city, and the region as a whole, if
you're familiar with it.

We are also toying with the idea of hosting this Meet at or around
the same time/area as an established convention, as that may get more
people to come and/or reduce travel expenses. So if there are any
conventions in your area during the summer of 2004, it would be greatly
appreciated if you would mention them as well.

Thanks in advance for you're help! Together we can make this event
something that will really be worth attending.

I am a part of the committee for this event.

I have brought it up in both meetings I believe.

If anyone wants to get involved as an individual...or should we make this the event that puts the NJO on the map?
