It'd be cool to have an online game of XWA, but all these numbers and abbrevs. floating around, I'm totally confused. Why don't we just connect using TheZone at MSN? ?
I've used it before and it all seems fine...

I just ran a couple skirmishes with SLF- it was my first time playing XWA online and I LOVED it! It was MUCH better than I hoped and I can't wait to get regular games going!

I'll be sure to take some screen shots of his A-wing being blown up next time

it was my first time hosting - and if you were shot down - that was it,

there as no ratio.

first game me and terra played as a team against a casino and some fighters - not enough however! - then i turned on terra - but he got me! lol

second game we played against each other A-WING VS X-WING we each had 2 wingmen and played in a mine field - I KICKED ASS GO THE A-WING!

still very anoyyed about our test game not working DARTH HANNIBAL however well get it sorted out!

and i serisouly need to uninstall my joystick and reinstall, then reconfigure it - it sucked!

Also, I have been playing the JK trial on the Zone, getting experience (I knew more than someone I played!) on the game. I can now butcher people in sabre duels, for example.

Look I keep saying, let's wait until we have enough members, and all testing is complete before we try any sort of organisation.

SFL and Terra managed to get a game going, and I managed to get a game going with my mate Gavin, so I think the only problem we ran into last night was that we tried to run a game that was too big (1 ISD and a wing of fighters in a minefield!)

However there might still be some technical problems, so if anyone's free to play over the next 24 hours, particularly anyone with 56k connections, then please ICQ me at the number above.

Take screenshots = CTRL+F12 - it saves a BMP in your XWA directory. (if that's not it, try some other key combos with F12).

The game is very fun, I have cable so it works okay.

 

I have x-wing and Tie Fighter but have not gotten xwing alliance yet. I Want it. I will join as soon as I buy it.
