Wow, surprising to see #53 where it is, considering how many people complained about it in the movie.

That's one of my favorite parts of the movie. Harrison Ford was really hilarious there. I love how he takes his hat off and holds it tight to his chest right before the last drop. Classic Indy!

#53 was one of the most hilarious parts of the whole movie. [face_laugh]

    #54 is absolutely classic.

#54 is a classic, plain and simple. Indy's reaction when Henry Sr. thinks Elsa is talking to him about how wonderful it was gets me every time.

#51 is one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. It really brings the whole father and son relationship between Indy and his dad together.

Yes, in fact I am surprised to see crossing the seal as high as #51. I can't remember if it was my #1 or not, but it was definitely in my top 5, for that exact reason you stated Qui Gon. To me, this is the most important and influential scene in the whole series. For once, Indy must let go of his desire to get the artifact, and it's that moment of self realization that his father does love him and care about him that causes Indy to let the Grail go. Everything about this scene is wonderful from the floor cracking open to Elsa falling in the pit, to John Williams' amazing score as the roof crashes down around them.

Yea, tell me about it. I was expecting it to be much higher myself. Everything is perfect in this scene and although this list doesn't reflect it, this is definitely one of my all-time favorites.

Yeah, #51's a very iconic scene if u ask me. I love how Henry Sr. calls him Indiana for the first time.

I keep forgetting to post comments.

But 51 should be much higher. I totally forgot to vote for it though. It was probably the most enlightening moment ever in a movie.

I watched "Last Crusade" yesterday. Not because it's my favorite Indy movie. But because it's a great Father son flick.

Sceen 51 is great! It's a Father who knows something is out of reach for his child. A child who still thinks he can do it.

But in the end Father knows best.

    (I know what No 1 is :p )

So, to ease us back in and get to the halfway point, here is Number 50!!

I'm not sure how either 50 or 51 are this low. But especially 51. That kind of sums up the entirety of Crusade, and is a scene for the ages. I would put it in the top 10.

Good scene, but it wasn't until I got the DVDs that I realised that Indy says a naughty word...

Backtracking first: Scene 50 was always one of my favorite action sequences. The timing, music, and action were all great. I think I heard on the DVDs that Steven didn't even film these scenes...

On Scene 49: Easily one of the darkest, if not the darkest part of the film. Indy confronting his own dark side (albeit drug induced.)

I think george should have the power to ban scenes with swords in them just because lightsabres>swords. :p

Anyway...anyone else think a hundred scenes from 4 movies is a tad excessive? That's like 25 scenes per film, or practically the entirety of each movie. :p 4 or 5 scenes per film might've worked out better. :p

We had the top 100 CT scenes, and the top 100 PT scenes, and they're only 3 movies each :p
