Then those should have been pared down as well.

 

I didn't like the special effects in the jungle chase. For me it didn't come off right.

#48- I love this scene. One of my favorite parts in Indy 4.

 

This is actually one of my least favorite parts of Indy IV. For me the action and special effects just did not work. I'm not sure if it was the visuals or the editing but this was when the movie started going downhill for me.

 

Whats happened to the countdown?

It stopped about a month ago?

 

Feel free to start it up again.

"Fortune and Glory"

I've always thought that the kid who comes back from the Temple at the start of the scene is one of the best acting performances in all the films

47)This is one of my fave scenes in all the movies.It's Indy at his most heroic and I absolutely love the fight.

I also agree about pics 2&4,when I think about Indy and the movies that's one of 3 shots that pop into my head first.


46)Another great scene,love the settings and visuals ,the little boy is great and of course the classic"Fortune and Glory" line.

 

That second pic in 47 is definitely one of the most iconic from the Indy films.

Love the fortune and glory line in 46.

 

Yay, the countdown's back!

#47 is powerful in so many different ways that it truly is one of the best shots in all of the Indy films.

That kid in #46 was really fantastic, and I can't tell you how many times I've overused the "fortune and glory" line.

 

It's a classic line! And that's one of the better parts of the movie, no doubt.

 

I also like when Indy says "right, all of us" when responding to Willie saying "let's get out of here".

It's not just the cinematography and the shot that makes it great. It is the brilliant editing decision of Michael Kahn with the shot that follows after it. Instead of opting to show Indy punching the guard, the shot cuts right from Indy looking bad ass and pissed off, to the guard flying backwards. A truly great, comedic, and iconic moment in the franchise.

48)Would have worked better without the monkeys and bad special effects.This scene feels like some of the bad aspects of the PT leaked into Indy.

 

Any peeps going to continue this? I'd like very much to see which shot landed the number one spot.
