[JCC] A serious question for the JCC

I'm not exactly for a thread of this sort, but if we do go with a thread like this....we have to make sure the stuff doesn't hit the fan.

 

I don't think that kind of tasteless humour belongs here in comms, Nashira. This constant verbal Diarrhea (along with pissing contests) was supposed to be prevented by the comms reform. I know there were some floaters regarding the reform, but enough is enough. Let's not turd a serious issue into a mockery. I shant have poop flung around this forum willy-nilly. Because we all know KK would get it full in the face, and it simply isn't fair to him. Hemorrhoids!

Sorry, but I don?t think it?s a good idea. Toilet humour is fine if it is used sparingly and in the appropriate way. A thread dedicated to poop jokes wouldn?t take long to violate the TOS (the vulgar & obscene bits spring to mind).

 

I am afraid I have to agree with Fish on this one. Poop jokes are humorous but a thread dedicated entirely to the subject would grow thin sooner rather than later and would serve as a hot spot for questionable material in theory.

 

As long as it stays regular.

Why not just allow so many threads in a set amount of time?

That way, one would not have make so many threads per day or have an "official" thread on the subject, but it's only fair that if we can have threads that focus on homosexuality and things of the like, we should be able to talk about poop.

 

There is a big difference between a thread discussing a part of who/what a person is, in reguards to the homosexuality threads, and a thread based solely on the discussion of human fecal matter. If we allowed someone to have an official poop thread, then somewhere down the road someone else would demand a urine thread, and after that an official bodily waste thread. Do you see my point? I don't see a problem with people mentioning poop in the occasional post for humor purposes but don't go overboard with it.

People could just run in, drop a bomb, stink up the joint, and make other people evacuate the thread.

Maybe the TOS needs to be amended then, cause all it says are "family friendly threads."

I don't know about you, but when you get my family together for Thanksgiving and Christmas, the poop hits the fan...

People need to lighten up and just accept the fact that some people find this funny. It's not like we're discussing child pornography or sadism.

I like K3PO's motion to approve a toilet/bathroom humor thread.
