JCC and Spamming...

Oi. This isn't the JCC, guys.

 

It's a thread about JCC... and spamming though, so technically they're on topic.

 

So back to the question . . . Parody thread sprees?

 

They're locked?

 

I think the question is more why is a parody thread spree -- even pre-locked for the mods' convenience -- allowed?

Because that's what it looks like to both the casual observer and other moderators who can check deeper.

 

So unlock and then lock? We have banned for parody sprees or locked and put it in their notes, especially if it's a large one. I thought Jada knew that, though, she's been around for a while.

 

Yes, but others do not know that and it has become quite the fad to do 1) parody sprees with or without pre-locks or pre-locking threads to state your opinion on a thread that has been locked [i.e. - the Transformers threads that cropped up when the official thread was locked].

 

All this discussion has left me wondering:

1. What would happen if I made a thread in the JCC?

2. What would happen if I made three threads there one day?

3. What would happen if I made three threads there every day?

 

Hopefully, they'd ban you.

 

I don't think they would be very good threads. But make a few and lets see how it turns out!
