Oh, also a THC overdose once. That was a hellish experience.

 

My only drug is Christ.

 

i smoked something once that they said was marihuana. but i started hallucinating the clock. it went like BAM 1 o'clock and showed a scene of me sitting there, skipping to BAM 2 o'clock you're getting weaker. it continued for twelve hours, showing progressively worse pictures of me, and then i died.

i dunno what was in that thing, but i don't think marihuana can do that? scary. i don't know much about drugs.

 

Marihuana can do that when you're, you know, a psycho.

 

the worst part is, and this annoys me still after 5 years, i was crushingggg them at poker. i had taken all the money from this dude who didn't think i knew what i was doing. but i lost it all to blinds while i was out of the room for hours being stoned or whatever

Depends if they laced it Zapdos. I remember taking pills that were cut with acid, so in addition to the usual adrenaline/serotonin rush, I was hallucinating mildly but acutely conscious of that fact.

 

They kept dealing you in the hand even though you were stoned out of your mind in the other room? Ice cold.

 

Actually I've tried probably every single drug known to man, but I've rarely repeated anything. I don't have an addictive personality, which made experimenting really fun when I was younger, but now I don't take anything other than alcohol, and even that has become a rarity these days. I fully believe in responsible consumption of drugs, and in the importance of educating your kids instead of making them believe that smoking a joint is going to make their hair fall off or whatever.

But Christ is the good ****, that much is true.

 

Same... done just about everything, but that was yeeeeeeaaars ago. I stick with ganja exclusively, these days.

but really, i enjoy playing poker, but i'm not all that good at it. but i had a great night, so this really bothered me, haha.

i don't touch anything anymore.. they're pretty strict about it here, and you can be deemed unsuitable and get tossed out of university if you get caught doing anything so.. it's fun to try stuff, but my future degree and job is more important to me so i'm okay

 

Nope. Not even a cigarette. Too much family history of drug and alcohol addiction for me to even want to tempt going that route.

 

It only makes sense that a thread celebrating JCC would go completely off topic for pages.

if it's a tournament structure and not a cash game this is pretty much the only way it makes sense to do it, even when people get stoned out of their mind. otherwise people could just leave until there was one person left and then be guaranteed at least second place. if it was a cash game though they should have dealt you out.
