No you don't. That sounds more like an attempt to put the conversation to bed than anything that a human would recognise as contrition.

A humble person would apologise without reservation for their error, to the person affected directly, and would deeply regret that their thoughtless actions and words caused such offence.

Note how you've not done that, you've in fact continued to refrain from addressing her directly? Yes. We did too.

I am asking no one to be quiet and am happy to continue receiving people's thoughts/feelings. As a point of clarity, apologies were offered for what transpired before my word choice was modified. Several of you have remarked on the diction since then. I continue to review personally workable alternatives.

Ender: Yes. It's almost like the response of the user in question prompted me to discuss the issue again, in public. Which is what I already said a few posts ago now. I am glad we were able to come to a better understanding g about this sequence of events.

1. angle your tongue up to the roof of your mouth to nail the pronunciation
2. Use the accents as a guide for how your intonation should flow
3. Say "Yingwen" (where the "wen" is pronounced like how people say "when") instead of yingyu.
