Wow, well, that was a pleasant surprise. CT's the one I would have voted for if I'd voted, so I'd say that after a strong start, these awards turned into a real dumpster fire but that fire is now back on track, to mix a metaphor and also probably cause a train wreck.

Though genuinely those nominees were all worthy, so it was basically impossible to screw this one up.

 

The hot mess has been thoroughly contained, perhaps by some sort of crude bread wrapper, creating a sort of... warm pouch, if you will.

 

Mine is a different case. How about you learn how to read?

 

The lyrics to the JCC song clearly state "somethingfamiliar the most under-rated."

This awards ceremony is a lie.

Not since Grace Mugabe won the state lottery have we seen such a forgone conclusion to an award.

Though of course, Bowen can bench Grace Mugabe; she can't bench him. She does, however, have an IMDB page.

 

Didn't think Bowen was the clear winner here.

 

Tunick the award is named after him, Tunick. Who else could possibly be the winner, Tunick?

I don't think I can accept the award, I tweaked my right arm and haven't benched in two weeks, but it's an honor to be considered. Hopefully I can get back on the saddle again soon and maybe do something more Bowen-esque like leg press my mostly plastic car while my girlfriend is wearing a Barbie-inspired outfit inside of it or something. I don't want to let you guys down, I just feel like if I'm not being Bowen enough then what good is it to win an award like that? It's embarrassing if you can't even live up to an award named after you. Or is that almost like part of the greatness of the award? I don't know.

I would take you guys all out to dinner to celebrate this award, but the last check I got from my books was for $32 and even Hot Pockets -- the non-caviar kind -- would probably blow through that dinner budget pretty fast with such a large number of voters
