    OK but that is generational gap. When I see Nickelback for example I think "I remember when these guys crawled out of the primordial soup and ruined music".

    The quality issues are not generational.

    That's not a raise. You can't even call with that. All they ever did was Hmmbop, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do - be a mildly irritating one hit wonder pop song. I actually quite like it. Whenever I hear something by nickleback it's like I'm sliding down a razor blade using my balls as a brake, and landing in vinegar (sonically speaking.)

    Congrats, Frieda! Literally couldn't have happened to a nicer person. :)

    Also, I had to look Nickelback up to see what songs they've done. There was a list of like 25, and I recognized none of them. It also said that Avril Lavigne was a similar performer, and I have this vague sense that I hate her, although I no longer remember why. I bet she satanically abused me when I was in preschool. I bet they all did. ********.
