You have a point... Personally, I would go for a complete wipe out of anything sexual, but I know that won't happen. But I think, personally, any toic sexual in the YJCC earns a immediate lock, no questions ask and a possible 24hr ban.

Why do people alway want to talk about sex??? ?[face_plain]

    That was BEYOND vulgar.

You might stop to consider that quite a few reasonable people have different standards from you.

It wasn't appropriate, but let's not take things too far. Sexuality isn't something we sweep under the rug of life.

Why do people alway want to talk about sex???

Because it's a major part of humanity and the lives of a lot of good people.

So what exactly defines a post or thread that is sexual in nature? You see, it's difficult to define. The forum as a whole really dictates its own level and standard of appropriateness.

These threads would have worked a few years ago... But since the JC became somewhat of a playground for horny toddlers, everything even remotely sexually tinted gets turned in to a nauseating 'flirt' thread the second a lass comments.

Well, you have to have a standard and, bleh, I hate trying to make a moral argument.

Theologicly I could say, God says it's sin so it's sin, but I know how that works out...

Socially I can't say anything, because todays world has no morals, so I can't say that it's socialy unacceptable.

Basicly, it comes down to the managers setting a line, cross the line and your history. But then is they have back ally morals, then they might say only posting hard core porn pictures is taboo, everything else goes...

The managers need to say, sexual innduendos are taboo. Priord.

Theologicly I could say, God says it's sin so it's sin, but I know how that works out...

A lot of people don't believe in God or in that particular viewpoint, even if they're Christian or otherwise religious.

Socially I can't say anything, because todays world has no morals, so I can't say that it's socialy unacceptable.

Morality is as much dependent on a person's viewpoint as anything else. Are your morals better than someone else's?

But then is they have back ally morals, then they might say only posting hard core porn pictures is taboo, everything else goes...

Why does that qualify as "back alley" morals?

Should everyone have to follow your morals, or the general principles you believe in?

I do appreciate you answering so far :).

The managers need to say, sexual innduendos are taboo. Priord.

    Why?

That's a flame against the owner. He sees things one way, you see it another, and I see it a third way. He owns it and I follow his rules. I'm free to leave if I don't like it.

Like I said, I hate this argument, bacause it can only be said one way: Doesn't matter. You still get cooked in the end. Doesn't matter weather you believe or not.

Morality is as much dependent on a person's viewpoint as anything else. Are your morals better than someone else's?

Since mind are in tune with the Creators, yes.

Yes, because they aren't mind, their God's. If you don't, well....

I do appreciate you answering so far :) .

Your welcome. I dislike trying to argue this way, because I can't put cold hard facts down and say 'see, your wrong, this proves it'.....

Which is exactly why your ideas are not implemented. Just because your invisible man in the sky that talks to you says I'm going to cook doesn't mean that the rules that my invisible man in the sky set down are any less valid.

And my invisible man says everyone gets pudding. Everyone.

So basically, it's great that you have religious conviction. However, this isn't the forum to push it on others. They have street corners for that.

Wow, That post by GenOochy was one of the most condescending things things I have ever read. And that's saying a lot in a Comms forum where Preacherboy once reigned supreme.

    I tried...

    Hopeless, this argument is.

DDH, how can you argue against Doesn't matter. You still get cooked in the end. Doesn't matter weather you believe or not.? That's some damned fine arguing. It basically says that WHATEVER we say, HE'S right, because he thinks he has GOD, of all people, on his side.

I just wish I knew why he has exclusive rights to claim God is on his side.

Why, God came to me last night and said everyone who doesn't post innuendo in YJCC will burn. Doesn't matter whther they believe it or not. It'll happen, you just wait and see. 'Course, I don't have any evidence, per se, but my faith is evidence enough.

    SUBMIT!

I prefer BobTheGoon's invisible friend to GenOochy's invisible friend. In the interests of not starting a flame war, I hereby forbid talking about GenOochy's invisible friend in this thread. You may still talk about BobTheGoon's invisible friend who gives pudding to everyone. :)

(And no flaming GenOochy's invisable friend please)

That's why I'm leaving the argument... Because that's what it comes down to, my beliefs verses yours, and since, more than likely God isn't going to come down and post here(To bad He's not a mod) the issue cannot be resolved.

Ugh, you say why does everyone have to talk about sex, and I ask why everyone always has to bring up religion. Look, let's step away from theology, and just look at this with my invisible friend, common sense.

The thread was sexually oriented. Sexually oriented threads, unless they are in good taste, are against the TOS. The thread was in bad taste, and attracted bad posts. It was locked.

I really don't see where there's room for argument there, Lord_Fett, but you're welcome to try.

personally, (had I been online) I would have locked this right away. G-spot discussion can be funny, but certainly not family-friendly.

Most of the younglings here have never had it. Thtats why.

And I find it funny that Jace got accused of wanting to be a mod.

Why is it when someone is helpful, they get accused of wanting to be a mod ?

With no certain reguards to this situation, but there is a difference between a user helping the mods by directing them to a problem thread and them telling the mod how to do their job.
