I'd like to thank everyone who said something stupid, or who cut corners on their own abilities to post something maddeningly backwards, or who just believed in the most absurd rubbish out there, for my award.

You probably think you're unfairly picked on; you're not. And to those who dream of being as ornery as I am; winning this award may seem a fantasy. A day dream. But if you stick to it, if you're passionate about passionately hating the dregs of the JC, if you're driven by spitting on the bottom of the barrel, keep at it. My award is the result of that continued conviction, and proof anything is possible. I'll be properly cross if I win again next year, because this is your wake up call.

Except you, Tunick. You've just not got it in you.

You should have received "least ornery"; Frieda is not even on the ornery scale as she's a nice person who has not been corrupted by the persistent hate of these forums. You want to be ornery, but can't/aren't/won't ever be.

 

Vent your rage by pulling a jumbo jet with your teeth.

 

Speaking of exercise; I haven't been to the gym in a week but I'm still losing weight from just not eating as much. It's grand, but tonight I start back on my routine which will prompt massive sweating. I'm not quite back to my old peak or your advanced stage yet, but I'm not 'exercise shaming' either.

Also, did you know about this "healthy at any size" movement? It's literally enormous people saying "You can be healthy at any size", except of course where it comes to a heart having to supply blood to 200kgs of wobbly mass. "But my cholesterol and blood pressure are normal!" They say. And your ability to walk a kilometre non-stop is non-existent. What's your point?

I get that fat-shaming is bad, but let's not pretend that we should celebrate that unhealthy state as "just another form of healthiness".

 

Hey, you specifically mentioned the lack of a physical strength category in your utterly failed attempt to get a single ornery nomination. I'm just giving the people what they want.

Ender Sai yup, I'm aware of it. I like Dan John's definition of health: 'the optimal interplay of organs'. While I'm on board with not needing a six pack to be healthy, if the organs have to service a lot of extra body mass, then health is just not there. Particularly if the liver never gets a break because of overeating. It's also arguable that adipose fat tissue is an endochrine organ. Too much of it disturbs hormone balance.

Thanks mate. I should post a picture of my calves though. I'm not actually proud of them because they're a bloody hindrance but they are a sight to behold.
