Well when Le'Veon Bell went down I think I just saw my season flash before my eyes

 

I need the Panthers Defense to kill tonight! They are projected 7.73. I need 8.05 to win by the skin of teeth! I need a whole lot of Luck!

 

heels might actually beat me this week... my team's just falling apart...

 

I have a long way to go tonight for victory.

 

With Drew Brees' performance yesterday (thankfully in favor of my team) it got me wondering. Does anyone know what the all-time highest amount of points a player has scored in fantasy is?

 

JM_1977, it may be hard to determine a stat like that as it depends on the settings in each individual league. For example, in our league, he got 47+ points. In my other league, he got 90+ points.

 

I think I remember getting around 56 points from Vick when he had that monster game against the Redskins a few seasons ago.

that vick game is notorious. clinton portis had a monster game in 2003. there are others, but as tony says, there can't really be a definitive number one since the scoring can vary so much.

i am 8-0 in my league this year, despite being picked to go 0-13 after the draft.

 

Well its the most points I've seen scored since I started playing a few years ago.

 

Travis Benjamin scored something similar to that a few weeks ago for Cleveland.

 

eh, no he didn't. he had a decent game against the titans but nothing anywhere near spectacular. i only know because he's on my team.

That's 45 points of scoring by one player.

 

i can't see the link, perhaps because we're not in the same league? but i just looked and the most points he scored for me was 23 in that week 2 game against the titans. again nothing spectacular. brady has averaged more points than that for me.

 

Long story short, Benjamin scored 44.9 points Week Two in the JCF League that week. Only Brees this week has scored more in this format.

EDIT: Return yards count in this league, which might explain the disparity here.

 

ah your league must give points for punt return yards and tds. that would explain the discrepancy, if not the enormity of it.

Going from 5-3 to 5-4 regardless of tonight's game as all of my players have played. Everyone under performed except a Tennessee RB that I happened to pick up on the waiver wire last week. I especially love the negative 0.20 from Markus Wheaton. That's cute.

 

At this point I'm looking forward to my big matchup against dp next week. It's also getting annoying when a third of your points comes from your QB for the second straight week T_T
