Servants to lies.

Free from love,
Slaves to pain.

I remember seeing a poem one about Jedi as well, I will post it here for the benfit of others, but keep in mind I DID NOT WRITE THIS.

The Jedi walk a lonely road: Heavy duty, heavy load.
No respite for weary mind, In the service of mankind.
The Code is clear, and often hard: Life long duty, small reward.
Fleshly pleasures pass them by, A Jedi must forego, deny.
Peace within and calm without Even in a 'saber bout.
Tall and strong, they stand alone, Knowing duty to the bone.
One with star and one with earth, Knowing neither death nor birth,
Jedi duty, Jedi flame, Jedi Order, always same.
Founded beyond memory Long ere Yoda came to be.
Raising 'sabers green and blue, Jedi stand, forever true.
