And I agree, Simpson. I'm not sure if Raven doing another game is really a good thing. And please make multiplayer interesting this time around. Thanks. Team-based objective maps with Republic vs. Separatists would be amazing, as would New Republic vs. Empire Remnant.

Edit: Though I must admit SP was spectacular once you got the lightsaber.

Why does no-one ever play the "other" JO MP games?

Well my new computer came so expect to get Jedi Outcast next time I go to Best Buy

 

I am a happy little boy. I just got done playing JO for about 2 hours. I've been playing almost daily since it's release. I didn't get it until half a month after it came out, then I didn't play it for about a month at the end of summer. But, it's a great game, and I don't have many faults with it.

I would almost be content with just new official maps, skins, a patch, and maybe some new graphics. But Lucasarts will add a whole new story and stuff any fanboy could enjoy.

Although, even after almost a year I still haven't finished the single player of Jedi Outcast.

 

Err... Nothing to see here.

Well, another Jedi Knight game is certainly good news. I hope it's a real sequel and not just an expansion pack. It will be interesting to see what the timeframe and story are. I hope it's not NJO, but if it is I'd buy it anyway because it would still be a DF game and the DF games so far are all amazing. If it's set during the Clone Wars and you are playing as a Jedi, it wouldn't make much sense to be using any guns, so that would be different. I'm sure they'd at least have guns in MP, though.

I wouldn't mind Raven doing the game. I thought JO SP was outstanding, and while all three MP versions have had their flaws it's still an incredibly fun game and I think the latest patch is the best one. If they learn some lessons from JO then the next one can be even better.

 

Personally I hope it's not a Clone Wars game. I never really did think the prequel era was good for video games. It just isn't that appealing to me. Give me OT and afterword anytime.

Playing as Quin in a JK type game, that would pwn. Period. I wonder what kind of game mechanics you could have based on his ability to read memories off of objects.

But, I'm also more than content for having Kyle kicking more Imperial or Vong butt.

 

I don't know if I would prefer a sequel to JK2, or a Clone Wars era setting. But if it was to be Clone Wars, wouldn't it be great if the main character was Morgan Katarn, Kyle's father? He was a Jedi, wasn't he?

Maybe with Rahn though, that'd be cool too! I still like the Quinlan idea more, although it doesn't tie in with the JK series.
