Saga Jedi and Tusken Raiders

    In ANH when Obi-Wan frightens away the tusken raiders after Luke's incident with them, I always thought that it was the noise and some kind of mind trick. Thinking about it in more depth is it not the fact he has some battered Jedi robes on? After all, the last time a Jedi came into contact with them was probably Anakin in AoTC, so really the just didn't want to be slaughtered!!

    Thoughts?

    Obi-Wan frightened the Tuskens off by simulating the cry of a Krayt Dragon. They never actually saw him.
