    How many Jedi Apprentice series are there?

    are there 2?

    I know the first one is about Obi Wan and Qui Gon. I think there are 14 of them...

    and today I saw a special edition one called deception. Is this just a single book or is it part of a larger series?

    the series of jedi apprentice is around nineteen books in length. The book Deceptions was a one-shot that went along with the series. There will be another series set in the time between episodes one and two. I can't recall the title right now but i do believe it's by the same author. hope this helps.

    "Jedi Apprentice" is the series that takes place before TPM and features Obi-Wan as an apprentice. It will ultimately have 20 books in the series, including Special Editions #1 "Deceptions" and SE #2 "The Followers". The second Special Edition is set to come out in March 2002.

    The second series, which I think is called "Jedi Quest", is pre-AOTC and will have Anakin as the apprentice.
