Jedi Con, Dusseldorf, 21-23 March

Well, there's a small number of us going to this, so rest assured pictures will be posted and we'll let you know what happens.....

Personally, I'm not quite sure what to expect, but it'll be an experience, lol!

duesseldorf and the area is quite renowned for the beer, methinks (not a beer drinker here)

Are there any interesting points or things or 'must-see's' in Dusseldorf does anyone know? I have asked the Germans in the Jedi Con forums, but have had little feedback....

Düsseldorf in general is a pleasant city with a good vibe going on. I can't really think of any major tourist hot-spots but a trip to the main shopping part is well worth it and there are some very nice walks that go along side the river Rhein. And being Germany, there'll be plenty of cake shops so it's worth trying one or two
The tram link service they have is very good too (and cheap!!) so getting around shouldn't be a problem.

Well, I was right..it was certainly different....not quite CE, but enjoyable all the same. The opening ceremony and the show on the Saturday night had some memorable moments.....I'll say no more than 'I wish I were a Rebel'- that is one song that I will unfortunately never forget!

Great to meet new people from both FF and Rebel Legion and big thanks to Kate for being the offical Jedi Con 'bag lady'
