Does anyone know of a good method to weathering a Jedi costume? Not exactly the "Mustafar Lava Fatigue" but weathering in general. Obi-Wan's costume is a very good example of a Jedi after fighting the war for some time.

Here is a picture of what I am trying to achieve.

Anyone have any tried and true methods? I'm not looking for exact lava scorches, etc. Just some heavy weathered/worn look. A thread I had posted this picture earlier had sort of inspired me to experiment with my WIP costume.

Some easy things you can do are get some brown and black spray paint and mist it on randomly from like 3 feet away, rough it up with some sandpaper, or just put it on and have someone beat the crap out of you. [face_batting]
