    OK, my tent is set up and I ordered some pizza and drinks. Can somebody help me set up the Tournament Tent over in the west side of the parking lot?

    Let's see.... what do we officially know about the set so far?

    The Ask Wizards feature highlighted this about it:[blockquote]
    February 19, 2003: What movies are going to be the used for the Jedi Guardians expansion? - Kerr

    Answer: Even though the set is still under development, we do have a good idea of what material we would like to see in the set. As we move forward with expansions we decide on a list of characters and items to represent the set. For Jedi Guardians our source material is predominantly taken from Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. - Chris Erb, SWTCG Marketing Manager[/blockquote]

    I was over there and had some spare room in my truck from getting the hot dog stand, so I brought them over.

    Hopeful some new Jedi, and I've got an awsome idea...

    Master and Padawan
    How it works, lets use Obi Wan and Anakin for an example, on Obi's card it Says "Anakins Master" and on Anis card it say "Obi Wans Padawan", when you have a master/padawan pair in the character arena the get stacked.

    Hmmm..... That might be a nice option but I think we really have enough stacking options now within the same characters. To some extent, a stack can be weaker than the two cards separate. For the above idea to work, there would have to be some really good bonuses like getting to attack twice.

    I want to see the entire Jedi Council in card form. Including Yaddle and the guy that GL thought might look like a Kamenoan.
    What size is this expansion going to be?

    Thanks,

    Yarael Poof you mean? That would be pretty cool. I wonder if they would have some ability that would simulate politics or something like that?

    In a new announcement it was stated that the entire Jedi Council will be in card form when Jedi Guardians is released, as well as good ol' Qui-Gon who I am most excited about.

    Here's the link.

    My terribly unoriginal thought on the new card type would be Device/Weapon (one of the two).

    It would work a lot like the Pilot ability, except be usuable on all cards... dependent on the device type. S/P = 0, H = 1 and would be immediately deployable on a unit once built. It could only be moved once from one unit to another in the build step. For instance:

    Vader's Lightsaber - Dark
    Device - Lightsaber
    Build: 4
    Game Text:
    {D} Sith Character Device. The Sith Character gets:
    * +1 Power
    * Critical Hit 1

    Tow Cable - Light
    Device - Tow Cable
    Build: 3
    Game Text:
    {D} Snowspeeder Ground Device. The Snowspeeder gets:
    * -10 speed
    * Critical Hit 2 when attacking an Imperial Walker

    I realize there are existing Device sub-type cards, but this seems like it could be worked easily into the game. However, it also seems hokey since you would assume that units are already attacking with some kind of weapon.

    We should start a list on what possible new types there could be, then run a poll to see who thinks what is more likely.

    So we think:

    Weapons/Devices
    Multi-Arena Units

    What else?

    I just realized that the prospect of a new Mace and Yoda is mucho exciting! Especially with Mace since being able to quad stack him is something I've been wanting for awhile even if it's rarely gonna happen.

    I got the latest insider in the mail yesterday and read through it hoping to get a Jedi Guardians preview or at least a BOY card encyclopedia, but there was no mention of the TCG anywhere. :(

    I want to know if it is the Episode II council or both I and II. I would like to use Yaddle...

    You know, they just said the Jedi Council, they also mean all Jedi, i think so it would be cool to see some non-movie Jedi, but i know its not all going to be masters.
