GREAT ATLANTA TOY SHOW MEETS ?STAR WARS?

As the last film in the STAR WARS saga hits theaters, THE GREAT ATLANTA TOY SHOW celebrates that galaxy, far, far away.

On Sunday, June 5th, THE GREAT ATLANTA TOY SHOW returns to the Marriott Century Center. Toy lovers of all ages can browse through more than 100 dealers tables and uncover a treasure trove of collectibles.

Dealers from all over the country bring with them a wealth of amazing, hard-to-find items. Barbies, G.I. Joes, Hot Wheels, anime, diecast, vintage dolls, metal toys, games, posters and more can be found. And expect tons of sci-fi and STAR WARS toys.

A fleet of Stormtroopers and even Darth Vader himself will be on hand to tempt guests to join them for THE JEDI JAM. Toy show attendees can participate in this all-STAR WARS event taking place in the hotel?s theater room.

There, fans will find 8 HOURS of entertainment. This includes a costume contest, STAR WARS improv comedy from Dad?s Garage Theatre, a fan film fest on the big screen, a STAR WARS comic book drawing class, a collector's panel and much more. Fans can have their picture taken with a Princess Leia look-a-like. And some pesky Jawas are sure to be rummaging around the hotel grounds.

Lego is one of the event sponsors and is involved in a big way. Guests? jaws will drop at some of the elaborate Lego ?Star Wars? displays on hand. Attendees can get in on the action and help build a giant ?Star Wars? mural made entirely of Legos. And Lego will be have plenty of ?Star Wars? sets for sale.

In addition, toy experts will be giving toy show attendees an ?Antiques Roadshow?-type of experience. Always wondered what that box of old toys in the attic was worth? Bring it to the show and the experts will let you know.

Is that inner-child napping? Time to wake ?em up!

THE GREAT ATLANTA TOY SHOW and JEDI JAM. $6 adults; $5 kids 5 - 16; 5 and under free. $12 for Jedi Jam package (includes toy show entry). 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 5th. Marriott Century Center, 2000 Century Blvd., Atlanta. www.greatatlantatoyshow.com. 678-770-9561
