Congrats to eveyone who got a part
but I dont think that musketeers had lightsabers

For those who are lost at this 4 of us tried out for parts in the musketeer play at embry riddle

Congrats to Cat for making Guard/Ensign Ricky #1, Josh for making the ship Captain, and Jayna for making Porthos (aka the puppy from Enterprise )

But see, it's ALL about the swords. If I had been Anne, 1) I would have had a lot of lines to memorize and 2) I wouldn't have been able to use a sword. So, it's all about the swords.

Also, I made guardsman 1, not 2 or 3, but 1.

 

Yeah, all I wanted to do was play with swords and I happen to get a part that doesn't involve any! How is it that the captain of the musketeers don't have any fights?!?! sheesh

 

PORTHOS IS A MUSKETEER WHO GETS TO PLAY WITH A SWORD!!!!!

THERE ARE NO PUPPIES AND THERE ARE CERTAINLY NO STAR TREK CHARACTERS IN THIS PRODUCTION.

I'm glad we were able to clear that up.

So, how was the movie last night? Did you guys go?

As much as I wanted to, I had a long night of packing ahead of me. I'm just about done now. I can't believe I'll be home in a few hours!

I hope all who are going home for the holidays have a safe and happy trip. Enjoy the break!

 

I cannot describe how awesome that was! We all pulled out a couch and some recliners from the storage room and sat right under the screen. There were probably 12 of us there and it was so cool to because all but two of us were major Star Wars fans. It was definitely an experience.

And the script editing went well too. Oh, Jayna, in order to shorten the story I had to cut a bunch of your lines. I hope you don't mind

Some of the Riddle Players watched ESB in the Auditorium after the script edit.

I printed out the script today. It feels good to have the final copy!

 

I was looking for my lines and I found them. I get to speak outside the set. But I still get to play with a sword!

 

I wonder if Rick will let me dress like a Ninja for my assassin role? I just saw the Last Samurai so had to go out and buy another Katana

My buddy also taught me an awesome sword kata while I've been back, so I forsee many broken fans in my future

Are any of the Riddle Players going to be at the showing of the 3 Musketeers tonight in the Auditorium?? It's no Empire Strikes Back, but it's still a big screen

What's with the clothing/props inventory thing on Saturday? Do we have to go to that?

I probably won't be at the movie. I think it might just disturb me to see a big burly guy playing my part.
