This is such a ludicrous argument. I mean, I don't agree with Dr Steve here, but I can't understand why the point you're choosing to go at him on is film budgets.

 

Considering that the Weequay Jedi seen around the Jedi Temple from Season 2 onwards has been identified as Sora Bulq (at least by the Wikia atm), it's safe to assume Bulq didn't go to the Dark Side after Geonosis. Which in my opinion was good.

 

Well we all know that War films generally aren't the type of movies that the masses are going to run to the theaters to go see most of the time. Only way though to give actual proof to that is showing that they generally don't do as well at the box office. The budget talk spun off from that.

 

Let's hope this series of series gives us the Coleman Kcaj/Pablo-Jill team up buddy cop adventure we've all been waiting for

-Qui-Gon Jinn obviously. Maybe a pre-Fall Count Dooku as well.

 

I want to see the 7 most powerful Jedi masters have a team-up one shot or something, just to satisfy my inner fanboy:

- Yoda
- Mace Windu
- Ki-Adi-Mundi
- Plo Koon
- Saesse Tiin
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Kit Fisto

In a 7-samurai style comic. Just fighting off hordes and hordes of battle droids.

 

And why no one mentions the iconic Shaak Ti? She deserves some spotlight too.

Can't wait for this series and to learn new stuff about Mace.

 

Keep in mind that of that 1 billion budget for Avengers 3-4, reportedly a full 1/5 of it is Robert Downey Jr.'s salary.

 

No one cares about Coleman Kcaj.

Sadly I'm not expecting to see Ostrander again. A real shame of course as he was, next to JJM, my favorite comic writer for star wars.

Still excited for this though, looks promising to me.

 

How about we get a canon story on Shaak Tii's final days? Did she actually defend the chancellor from Grievous during the battle of coruscant or is that just legends? Did she get skewered by Anakin at the temple or go into hiding on felucia? I HAVE TO KNOW!!!

 

She failed to defend Palpatine and got killed by Anakin in the temple during Order 66 according to Wookieepedia.

 

I'm not giving up hope. I know the SW editors at Marvel are reading and sometimes posting here, so I'm sure they are well aware that most of us would like to see Ostrander&Duursema back. It's only a matter of time.

 

I hope your right, as them doing another comic series would be a dream.

 

This is acceptable as long as we also get a Coleman Kcaj / Coleman Trebor spinoff out of the deal.

 

I hope we get info on the Jedi's personalities and personal life as well, not just "random mission #24". I mean I do not mind it every once in a while but "random mission #24" stories just do not interest me. I want backstory and character development!

 

I sometimes wonder if maybe DC had the Star Wars license Ostrander would be more likely to come back\be welcomed back, writing long runs on such books as Suicide Squad and Martian Manhunter (I loved his MM stuff). He had quite a history at DC, didn't do much of anything at Marvel. Not that I think that should matter anymore.
