Phx Jedi or Stormtrooper?

Yes, the miniskirt Imp was a cute idea, but it just wasn't canon.

But, as far as females in the series, there may not be a lot of characters, but there tons of costumers that are female.

The 501st is full of them. Women can wear armor just as much as guys can. (Much to Palpatine's dismay, I'm sure )

There are also Twilek chicks. Some are Jedi, some are dancers. Either way, they are recognizable beings from the Star Wars universe.

Who's to say there are no Twileks in the Rebellion?

For that matter, there are tons of alien creatures in the Star Wars universe that a person can costume as.

In fact, I'm looking into doing a Bossk costume in the future. If I have to sculpt the head and arms myself I will, but by God, I will have this costume by C3 if not sooner!

Don't keep your mind narrow. Try to think of something that no one else has done yet, and do it! (But don't steal someone else's cool Bossk ideas! )

 

I'm sticking with Lobot. Pictures coming after I finish the better headpiece.

I've set a goal of ST armor before the 2005 EP III premier.

 

To add to what aztrooper0013 and kreleia have mentioned in addition to quite a few examples of female Jedi there are several examples of females adapting male costumes. Sith Vixen's Darth Maul costume, for example.

 

Hmmm... well, yes, cost is an issue either way. Jedi = cheaper, but that also depends on how AUTHENTIC you want to get

You do have your basic Jedi robes but quite a few Jedi didnt wear them. The only thing that most Jedi do have in comon is a Lightsaber. Just get a feel for the basic Jedi garb and run with it. Just remember, have FUN!

Yeah go for whatever you want... but i wouldnt do a Sith or dark jedi getup..we have too many already! LOL!

If done right, this can be an extremely cool costume. We saw one at Comic Con that was absolutely beautiful (and eeeeevil).

First find a character you're comforatble with. You don't have to do any "known" character either if you want. I'm doing my own for my jedi style outfit. I'm later on doing a costume for him as an x-wing pilot...doesn't have to be Luke or Wedge but it's recognizable to the public.

With my bald head, a Darth-Maul costume would be fun... but I think my face is a but chubby for that. Did anyone see that Fan Film "Essence of the Force" There was a Darth-Maul-type character in that.. he even kept his goate, dyed it, and it worked.

Perhaps I should expand my search of a cool costume as you all have suggested. I don't think I've EVER seen a Kit Fisto costume! He's pretty cool, eh? (I even changed my icon to him)

Ater all, maybe I'll team up with Deisel and do LOBOT.
