Jedi Outcast & Academy: Mods, Levels, Skins etc.

My Fav. skins would be the Fett skins,for obvious reasons , Yoda, and the Twi'lek skin pack. Chewie's a good one too as is Vader.

 

Does anyone know if there's a Mara Jade skin anywhere? ?

I've been wanting to play online but I'd like to use a skin of her and I can't find one anywhere...

 

There are quite a few, but I've only seen re-skins of Tavion in a full black jumpsuit being called Mara Jade....not sure if that's what you're looking for.

 

Hm... I was looking for something like Mara's look (the regular and the dark) on JK: MOTS... but better-looking graphics wise, preferably.

Related note: The 4th Skinning tutorial is almost done & there will be 5 in total.

It'll be nice to have a skinning contest & get some custom skins bundled for the server.

I just bought Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast!
Great game!
One question though.
I've never downloaded a skin for a player in my life, so when you download the skin, does it go straight to the game and skin the player automaticly? Can you change it without deleting the skin?

 

na, when you DL a skin - put the .pk3 file in "gamedata" and then when you play you can choose to play as that skin or not.

edit = I'll make that statement a bit clearer.

When you download a skin. Unzip it and put the .pk3 file into the "Gamedata" folder in JO.

When you start JO the skin is to be selected from "Player". When you change skins/characters they don't get deleted. You have it for life - unless you delete the .pk3 file from the GameData folder.

Actually to make it clear serch for Jedi Outcast click on the folder click gamedata then click base and put the file there. Usally I just unzip a skin straight to the base folder.

Jedi outcast.
Now, it says to input the blue button in the main array. Do you remember that part?
Well I really want to go on to the next level, so can somebody tell me how to input it? I have no idea where it is or how to input it. Thanks
