I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I don't think it warrants its own thread.

In Jedi Knight finding all the secrets on a level let you increase the force power of your character dramatically. Does finding the all the secrets in a Jedi Outcast level do the same thing?

I swear to God, I am this close to posting a rant about the "demo" of Jedi Outcast.

Well..I was considering getting Jedi Outcast...but I downloaded the demo of the first Jedi Knight, and I didn't like it that much. I think I'll like this one a lot though..I'm just not sure if I should plunk down $50 for it. I have a few questions about the game..if some of you could answer, I'd appreciate it.

1. How is the multiplayer? I've heard of the modes like lightsaber only deathmatch and the innovative capture the ysalmiri. Which one is the best?

2. I've heard that the single player mode is boring in the first couple stages. Does it get better? Is this even true?

3. How much freedom does it give you in terms of developing your character? In Jedi Knight, there was a nice light-side dark-side system of points. Is there anything like this in JO?

4. And finally, is the game too hard? Too easy?

Again, any responses are appreciated.

 

hmm, well i disliked multiplayer, but thats just me

and for SP game, its fun, i enjoyed every level very much cept the swamp level near the end (but that level is just one out of 20+ that are amazing)

and for single player, no development really, but you can use light and dark powers, basicaly your a grey jedi , light nor dark

im playing on jedi master atm, and its FREAKING HARD but on the easy difficulty its pretty easy, second one so so, 3rd challanging, and 4th super hard =P

 

And there are lots of fan-made mods (both single player and multiplayer) that will give the game long life way after you beat the SP missions.
